March was a busy and enjoyable month here at Annan Day Centre, filled with activity, learning, and plenty of opportunities for our members to connect and have fun.

We continued to offer our much-loved regular activities, including chair Pilates, tai chi, aqua aerobics, accessible yoga, and of course our ever-popular bingo sessions. These activities remain a fantastic way for everyone to stay active, social, and engaged, no matter their ability level.

One of the highlights of the month was our car trip to Hetland Hall Garden Centre. It was a lovely day out where members enjoyed browsing the plants, gifts, and seasonal displays, as well as spending time together in a relaxed and friendly setting.

With Easter approaching, we got into the festive spirit by hosting an Easter egg decorating session. This was a big hit with our members, bringing out lots of creativity, colour, and laughter.

We were also delighted to welcome a number of guest speakers and opportunities for learning throughout March. A community firefighter visited us to share valuable fire safety advice, and we hosted a fraud awareness session delivered by Virgin Money, helping everyone stay informed and safe. In addition, a first aid course was made available to anyone interested, providing useful skills and confidence in dealing with emergencies.

We are very grateful to Virgin Money for their generous donation of a laptop to the centre. This will be a great asset in supporting our activities and helping us stay connected.

As always, we continued to provide our daily two-course meals, ensuring our members enjoy nutritious and comforting food in a warm and welcoming environment. We also maintained our food parcel service for the wider community, supporting those who may need a little extra help.

Overall, March was a month full of positivity, community spirit, and meaningful moments. We look forward to another great month ahead!
